About Steve Herron
Steven Herron, GRI, means Steven is a Graduate of the Realtors Institute. The National Assn. of Realtors considers its GRI designation to be the equivalent of a Bachelor's Degree in real estate. It's held by fewer than 10% of realtors nationwide. Since he holds a California Lifetime Credential in Adult Education, Steven is also a substitute teacher in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District, of Orange County, California, specializing in mostly ESL (English as a Second Language) classes. Steven's more than 30 years of real estate sales, ranging from the Ketchum-Sun Valley, Idaho area to Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Newport Beach, Seal Beach, Garden Grove, and even Santa Ana, Orange County, California, means knowledge and experience working for you . Steven has even sold properties in Tustin and Yorba Linda in Orange County, California. He is also fairly fluent in Spanish and German. He is licensed to represent purchasers of real estate throughout the State of California, and was once a partner in his own real estate office in Ketchum, Idaho. Having first moved to Southern California in 1943, Steven has watched the South Coast of California grow tremendously over the decades. All of his schooling occurred in Los Angeles and San Diego of the SoCal area. He grew up surfing, but he fell in love with downhill, or alpine, skiing in the early 60's and left to live in Aspen, Colorado, in November, 1966, but returned to Los Angeles in January, 1973. In July of 1977, he moved to the Ketchum-Sun Valley area of south-central Idaho, where he got his start in real estate sales in 1979 and lived and raised a family for 20 years. He still holds an inactive real estate broker's license in the State of Idaho. He re-located to Surf City, USA, in early 1999. Currently single, he's the father of two grown sons, both of whom are working on advanced degrees at UCLA and SUNY, Buffalo, New York. Whether it's commercial, investment real estate, multi-unit properties, leasing, fixers, re-habs, foreclosures, distressed sellers, probate sales, or any other aspect of real estate, you can bet Steven has had experience in it, as many satisfied clients will testify.
